First, Aaron, Richard, and Melissa want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for visiting our website. When we began looking into growing hemp on our family farm, we didn't recognize the impact and connections it would allow us to make within our community and state.
We established three priorities when we created South Bend Industrial Hemp. These priorities are the foundation of our business, and we felt it was important to share those with you.

1. Our initial priority is to help Kansas farmers launch another economically viable crop. It’s no secret the agriculture industry is experiencing tough times. We don’t want to see farms that have been around for generations close their doors. If we could navigate this industry and help other farmers grow a different crop, with new income potential, then maybe we could help with the rapid decline of family-operated farms.

2. The second priority is to experience ALL links of the hemp industry production chain. From finding plants/seed, to growing a healthy and legal crop, state testing, hand harvesting, drying, hand bucking, delivering our biomass to the extractor, receiving our isolate, and then finally formulating products, we wanted to experience EVERYTHING! We believe in order to understand how each link works together; you must understand the link as a single unit.

3. Our third priority is to bring a product to market that is safe, effective and from our Kansas-based family farm. We want our friends, family, and buyers to have the assurance they are buying what we say is on the label. We implement third-party testing for each of our products to leave you with confidence there is no THC or unwanted chemicals in your CBD Oil or Salve. We personally formulate each of our products.

Our first growing season has been a roller coaster of emotions. We have experienced heartache as we watched Mother Nature be vicious with flooding rains, hail and high winds, to celebrations as our plants developed beautiful flowers in the field. We proudly produce high-quality oil and salve for you. That being said, we can't wait to see what 2020 has in stored! Enjoy our website and if you have any questions, would like to come to visit our farm, or want to know more about us, don’t hesitate to reach out. We are extremely passionate about Kansas farming and Kansas hemp and love education or discussion of new ideas!
